Abstract
The article reveals the relevance of profiling at the stage of high school education.
As an example the specificity of pedagogical profiling and experience of its organization in the
Republic of Belarus are considered. The genesis of the idea of propaedeutic training of future
teachers back in high school is presented. The key prerequisites for productive implementation
of the model of pedagogical profiling in school at the present stage are substantiated.
