Abstract

This issue examines the types of word associations offered by different authors. It is noted that the difference between classifications depends on principles — psychological, logical or linguistic principles whichunderline this classifications. Models of word associations in each case also depend on specifics of the association experiment, goals and aims of the research and on social, professional, cultural, historical factors and factors of sex and age.
