Abstract

The author highlights the problem of fostering pedagogical tactfulness of teaching staff in the context of globalisation which takes place in all spheres of human activities. The social and pedagogical essense of pedagogical tactfulness is revealed and its role in promoting personal professional longevity, job satisfaction, and professional self-esteem is described. The paper defines sensitive periods of fostering pedagogical tactfulness on the basis of interdisciplinary integration. The applications of risomatic model of curriculum design for modern university are analysed in terms of its impact on the way professional pedagogical tactfulness is instilled. The author describes such mehodological tools of fostering pedagogical tactfulness as interpretation, self-identification, introspection, model-setting for reseach and learning activities.
