dc.description.abstractThe article focuses on the issues of education for students with hearing impairments in Belarus. It describes legal basis regulating the possibility of using and teaching sign language. It stresses the importance of sign language in gaining social competence and developing a positive self-image. The article describes selected support methods and forms for deaf and hard-of-hearing people used in deaf education. It emphasizes the significance of sign language, which forms the foundation of the bilateral integration of society, where different types of disabilities occurru_RU
