Abstract
В статье анализируется иммиграционная политика США в период с 1880-х по 1920-е гг.
Рассматриваются количественный и этнический состав иммигрантов, а также основные этапы формирования
федерального иммиграционного законодательства США. Отдельное внимание уделяется изучению антииммиграционных настроений, которые происходили в обозначенный период.
The article analyzes the US immigration policy in the period from the 1880s to the 1920s. The quantitative and ethnic composition of immigrants, as well as the main stages in the formation of the federal immigration laws of the United States are considered. Special attention is paid to the study of anti-immigration sentiments that occurred during the designated period.
