Abstract
У артыкуле разглядаюцца другасныя намінацыі фізічных уласцівасцей і станаў чалавека ў беларускай і англійскай мовах. Выяўляюцца агульныя і спецыфічныя рысы такіх намінацый. Акрэсліваюцца семантычныя мадэлі, па якіх утвараюцца метафарычныя лексіка-семантычныя варыянты. Устанаўліваецца тэматычная суаднесенасць кампанентаў зыходнай донаравай і рэцыпіентнай сфер.
The article considers the secondary nominations of physical properties and states of a human in Belarusian and English. It reveals the common and specific features of such nominations. It points out the semantic models that are the base for creating metaphorical lexical-semantic variants. It establishes the thematic correlation of the components of initial donor and recipient spheres.
