Abstract

The article reveals the results of an experiment dedicated to verbal thinking skills forming for the sake of text perception and understanding optimization. Text sense perception is viewed as a process of verbal thinking. The experimental data outlined proves that there is an urgent need of a special training aiming at the above mentioned optimization within a high-school students’ target group. The principles, methods and results of the training course are revealed.
