Просмотр собрания по группе - Темы As a result of the conducted research the ecological and biological peculiarities of tulip varieties of Kaufman class in the conditions of Baranovichi city and the prospects of their use in landscaping of the city have been studied. Comparative analysis of biometric parameters of tulip varieties of Kaufman class cultivated in Baranovichi with similar parameters given in literature for tulip varieties of Kaufman class in natural growing conditions was carried out. It was found that the natural conditions of Baranovichi are fully favourable for the cultivation of tulip varieties of this class. The habitus of plants, the sizes of vegetative and generative organs are approximately the same as in natural conditions (no reliable differences were found). Phenological phases of seasonal development may be shifted to earlier dates depending on weather conditions. Based on our observations, tulip varieties of the Kaufman class are recommended for use in decorative urban landscaping due to their original decorative properties, early terms of vegetation and flowering, plasticity in cultivation and stability.
