Abstract

В литературоведении проблема анималистического жанра является дискуссионной, поскольку отсутствуют дефиниция понятий «анималистика» и «анималистический жанр». В статье рассматривается история становления анималистики в литературе, анализируются различные интерпретации понятий «анималистика» и «анималистический жанр», а также исследуется эволюция жанра анималистического рассказа на материале произведений Ч. Г. Д. Робертса, Э. Сетон-Томпсона и Ф. Моуэта.In literary studies, the problem of the animalistic genre is debatable, since there is no definition of the concepts of «animalism» and «animalistic genre». The presented article examines the history of the formation of animalism in literature, analyzes various interpretations of the concepts of «animalism» and «the animalistic genre», and examines the evolution of the genre of animalistic storytelling based on the works of C. G. D. Roberts, E. Seton-Thompson and F. Mowat.
