Abstract
В статье осуществлен анализ основных положений народной педагогики о роли отца и матери в воспитании ребенка. Раскрыто влияние авторитета отца и матери на становление ребенка как личности. Сделан акцент на педагогических функциях отца и матери с позиций народной и традиционной педагогики. Сделана попытка определить условия успешного воспитания по идеям украинской народной педагогики.
The article analyzes the main provisions of folk pedagogy on the role of father and mother in education of a child. The influence of the authority of the father and mother on the formation of the child as a person is revealed. The emphasis is placed on the pedagogical functions of father and mother from the standpoint of folk and traditional pedagogy. An attempt is made to determine the conditions for successful education according to the ideas of Ukrainian folk pedagogy.
