Abstract

Current problems of biological effects of UV light, an ecological component of solar radiation, are discussed. The effect of UV radiation on the growth, development and productivity of potatoes (Salanum tuberosum L. ) was studied. Testing plants has more accelerated rhythm of development, has more overground mass, increased productivity arid has more higher reproduction coefficient. Thereby, these questions have large scientific interest and the mechanisms of action of UV light of different ranges still remain poorly studied. In agriculture the use of UV light increases us a method raises productivity of growth and development different agricultural plants.
