APPLICATION OF COMMUNICATIVE TEACHING METHOD IN ENGLISH LISTENING TEACHING

Abstract

Listening learning strategies are an important part of second language learning strategies. Learning strategies are a series of measures and actions taken for effective learning. This paper studies a series of measures and actions learners take to learn English listening well by analyzing the following aspects: students’ abilities in phonetic knowledge, language and cultural background knowledge, and ability to make reasonable guesses, so as to promote the improvement of English listening in a targeted manner.
